BAS Alumni Association, 501(c)3

The Brighton Area Schools Alumni Association was formed in 1986 and provides support in the collection, maintenance, and preservation of historical data and memorabilia for Brighton Area Schools.
Projects that we support:

• The Scholarship Program for BHS graduating seniors was established in 1986 and has awarded over $114,000 year-to-date.  Applications are available in the counselor’s office.

• Each year commemorative diplomas are presented to the 50 year graduates of BHS during the commencement ceremonies for the current graduating class held at Eastern Michigan University.

• The Alumni Room at the high school holds over 100 years of Brighton Area Schools. You can visit the room by appointment.

• The Alumni Hall displays all class photos from 1930-2021 and is open to the public.

• An All-Alumni Dinner open to all interested is held on the 3rd Saturday of July.

• Practice SAT and ACT exams are offered to middle and high school students to prepare for the testing environment and scoring rubric before officials results are needed. Career Exploration Scholarships are offered by random draw for middle school students to learn about potential careers.

• Homecoming Parade participation and other alumni events.
